As they head off for some long overdue rest and relaxation, Ratchet is plagued by thoughts of his mysterious past. He's not the only one, though – Emperor Percival Tachyon is also interested in Ratchet, and wants to wipe every last Lombax from the universe. Tachyon's forces ambush Ratchet and Clank in their home galaxy, and our heroes are once again forced to save innumerable innocents.
