For the uninitiated, the setting is a 31st-century world devastated by warring clans of "BattleMechs." And as a mechwarrior, a BattleMech pilot, you have joined a heroic band of mercenaries known as Wolf's Dragoon. You must prove your worth by choosing a BattleMech, optimizing its firepower and abilities, and most importantly, by doing battle. The fast-paced third-person action includes dynamic and destructible environments as well as a mission-based storyline. Most impressive is MechAssault's vast multiplayer online capabilities. |
