You'll still fly the skies shooting down alien craft and rescuing stranded humans, but now you can fly one of several new ships, and it isn't just human cargo you'll be carrying. Using a tether you can pick up artillery and tanks to deliver as they're needed for each mission. Moving ground forces adds a considerable element of strategy compared to classic version -- but if you miss the old side-scrolling action, the original arcade version is included as an Easter egg. |
