Most promising is its new online gameplay based on solid tournament modes from NHL Hitz Pro. In addition Midway has cooked up a stellar 100-season deep Franchise Mode adapted from the popular baseball simulator Baseball Mogul. Baseball fans will have the ability to manage on-the-field and off-the-field aspects of running a franchise, even allowing for free agent market manipulations. Players will also enjoy MLB Slugfest's excellent gameplay with its fine-tuning of its batting and pitching systems, and the ability to tone-down over-the-top antics.
