Marauding aliens have raided a lone human planet and are now following its survivors to our solar system. As the pilot of a spaceship called the Silpheed, you are humanity's last line of defense. You'll fight through six expansive levels of harrying enemies, collecting special weapons as you go. Beautifully animated cutscenes move the story as the stakes rise higher. It'll take quick trigger fingers, acrobatic flying, and pinpoint accuracy to stave off the galactic onslaught.
